NEW DELHI, May 01 (SABAH): Turkish President Tayyep Erdogan has offered to play the role of re-conciliator to help resolve Kashmir issue. During his India visit Erdogan also demanded end to Indian atrocities in the Indian occupied Kashmir.
Supporting Pakistan’s membership in Nuclear Supplier Group, Erdogan said that India should not object about it. In an interview to an Indian television, he also said that the cycle of Indian atrocities in Kashmir must end, saying that it is in the interest of both India and Pakistan to resolve Kashmir issue so as to save the next generation from being effected. There could be no better way than talks, he said.
Turkey could be a part of the matter if necessary to resolve it, he said. Both India and Pakistan are Turkey’s friend and I want that all the relevant parties should resolve the Kashmir issue through talks, he added.
