Says report of the JIT will be challenged in Supreme Court today
Says Nawaz Sharif will not resign on the demand of someone
SIALKOT, July 16 (SABAH): Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the opposition parties are fighting war of their own interests. He said someone is demanding resignation of prime minister and someone is demanding fresh elections. He said the JIT report is ridiculous and whole nation is angry over it. He said today (Monday) the report of the JIT will be challenged in Supreme Court. Khawaja Asif said we will succeed in the court; however those who had staged sit-ins will face disappointment again. He said Nawaz Sharif will not resign on the demand of someone. He said no one could demand resignation from Nawaz Sharif as the masses have elected Nawaz Sharif as prime minister through their mandate. He said the public mandate will be fully defended.
Talking to media persons in Sialkot on Sunday Khawaja Asif said that the nation is acknowledging the services of Nawaz Sharif and world is also acknowledging the progress of Pakistan. He said that Nawaz Sharif had made Pakistan nuclear power and he will make Pakistan economic power too. Khawaja Asif said that for making the country atomic power the government of Nawaz Sharif was removing under the international conspiracy; however instead of unconstitutionally end of two governments, Nawaz Sharif again came into power with heavy majority.
Khawaja Asif said that the foreign powers are badly affecting the CPEC and Gwadar, adding that the enemies want to keep Pakistan in pressure. He said the help of terrorists has become the international business.
He said that Pakistani nation is brave nation and it has rendered great sacrifices in war against terrorism.
Meanwhile Khawaja Asif in a tweet post, questioned the party’s ethics, stating that “a certain party resigned from the assembly, then begged to withdraw its resignations, and is now demanding the Prime Minister’s resignation.”
