LAHORE, Aug 12 (SABAH): Milli Muslim League (MML) wants to end disputes of provinciality and linguistics and promote an atmosphere of brotherhood and tolerance. The system of education and economy would be improved and national unity would be proliferated.
President MML Saifullah Khalid and General Secretary MML Sheikh Fayyaz Ahmad held a joint press conference here on Saturday. Supported candidate of MML for NA-120, Qari Muhammad Yaqoub Sheikh was also present on the occasion.
They said, “Istehkaam e Pakistan Conference will be held at Nasir Bagh, Lahore today (13th of August). All relgio-political organizations, lawyers, students and former organizations have been invited. On 14th of August, public meetings, conferences and rallies will be conducted at district level worldwide. Thousands of people would participate in these programs.” They also vowed to defend Pakistan’s flag.
They announced to launch election campaign in NA-120 and said, “We would open offices in each area so as to reach out to masses. We have started our work today.”
MML leadership criticized and condemned the exclusion of the stuff related to the ideology of Pakistan from the educational syllabi of the country and pledged the laying of the foundations of the whole education system on those very footings.
Saifullah Khalid called India’s water aggression Pakistan’s bigger issue and said, “Our rivers come from Kashmir. Therefore, Pakistan’s survival depends on water. Jinnah termed Kashmir jugular vein of Pakistan. MML supports the self-determination rights of Kashmiris, in the light of UN resolutions. MML also supports Kashmir’s freedom struggle and is vowed to support Kashmiri brethren on all levels, be it the moral, diplomatic or political.”
