Says no any law can be made against Quran and Hadith
Tallal says govt wants to sort out the matter with protestors through talks but in case of failure the administration will come into action
ISLAMABAD, Nov 14 (SABAH): Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf says the declaration form regarding finality of Prophethood has been restored in its original shape and no any law can be made against Quran and Hadith.
He was addressing a news conference along with Minister of sate for Capital Administration and Development Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Minister of State for Interior Muhammad Tallal Chaudhry in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He said we all are Muslims and there will be no compromise over the finality of Prophethood as it is an important part of our faith.
The Minister said those who staged sit-in are just teasing the people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi because the matter has been resolved by the government. He said Islam does not allow hurting anyone as it is the religion of peace, love and brotherhood.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry said the government wants to sort out the matter with protestors through talks but in case of failure the administration will come into action.
He said the government has listened to their demands, but if any demand will be illegal and against the constitution, can not be accepted as the government is not in favour of anarchy within country.
Tallal Chaudhry said that dharna-walas had promised that they will not create obstacle for the people but they violated their promise.
He said the government has constituted a committee to probe into the matter and its report will come soon. He said the government will not take any decision before the report.
He said the government is demonstrating patience and want to resolve the matter through negotiation, otherwise necessary action will be taken.
Tallal Chaudhry also appreciated the role of media during this situation and said the media has shown mature behavior and done responsible reporting.
Expressing his views, Minister of sate for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr. Tariq Fazal Chudary said the students and patients are facing difficulties to approach educational institutions and hospitals due to sit-in.
He said the protestors should consider the image of Pakistan at the international level.
He said the preaching of Islam are based on peace and brotherhood therefore we should take care of our brothers.
