Announces to chalk out a 10 year developmental package for Balochistan province
QUETTA, Nov 14 (SABAH): Prime Minister Shahid Khakan Abbasi has announced to chalk out a 10 year developmental package for Balochistan province.
Talking to media persons along with Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri and other federal ministers, he said in Quetta a short while ago that the fifty percent of special developmental package would be provided by the provincial government while remaining fifty percent by federal government. He added that he would personally monitor progress on developmental package after every couple of month.
Shahid Khakan Abbasi expressed satisfaction over the so far progress on the on-going China Pakistan Economic Corridor mega project and other developmental schemes in the province.
The Prime Minister further said that the package would be comprised of establishment of new schools, power projects and construction of new drinking water schemes in the province. He further said that an LPC plant would be installed in each and every district of Balochistan.
Reply to a question, the Prime Minister said the general elections would be held in the country on time and the present government would complete its tenure. He said that the next elections will be held in two months time after the completion of the term of the current government in next June.
Replying to another question, he said that governance should be done in accordance with the law and constitution of the country. He further maintained that supremacy of law and constitution should be upheld.
The Prime Minister went on saying that democracy should prevail in the country at all costs.
