NEW DELHI, Nov 28 (SABAH): Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday directed to issue medical visas to at least seven Pakistanis while responding to their requests on Twitter.
Nine-year-old Maria’s father had requested Swaraj to issue medical visa to her daughter who is suffering from thalassemia.
Another person Maryam Asif has been asked to contact Indian High Commission in Pakistan for visa issuance to her ailing father.
Besides them, Fariha Usman, Tariq Hussain, Mubarak Ali, Sakina Younus and Nabiha Rashid have also been assured of issuing the visa soon.
The External Affairs Minister also assured another Pakistani woman, Fariha Usman, that her visa would be granted.
Swaraj has recently been using the social media platform to answer appeals by Pakistanis to grant them medical visas.
