QUETTA, Feb 12 (SABAH): Chief Minister of Balochistan Abdul Quddoos Bazenjo has said that there is no likelihood of horse-trading in the senate elections, saying that the government-supported candidates are contesting senate elections as independent candidates.
Chief Minister of Balochistan was expressing these views while talking to media on Monday after appearing in the office of election commission as proposer for the independent candidate Shama Perveen Magsi.
Abdul Quddos Bazenjo said that they have the support of 41 candidates, saying that they will succeed in getting eight to nine senators elected in the senate elections.
He said that like-minded people are included in their group and decision will be taken through mutual consultation.
To a question, Abdul Quddoos Bazenjo said that contact will be made with the all including Jamiat- Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (HUI-F) with regard to elections., saying that it is hoped that there will be better results.
Chief Minister of Balochistan said that the government is doing the work of social welfare, saying that the media should publish the news after confirmation.
Provincial interior minister Sarfraz Bugti was accompanied with chief minister Balochistan on the occasion and he said that a few correspondents of media are leveling allegations of horse-trading and they reject such news, saying that no member is getting the money.
He said that he has no difference with the chief minister Balochistan, saying that he will remain with the chief minister and will not leave him.
