ISLAMABAD, Feb 10 (SABAH): Chairperson National Assembly Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Marvi Memon says the government plans to develop equally improved transportation system for urban and rural areas.
She was addressing a seminar titled “Commuting with Dignity: A dialogue on Sustaining Urban Transport in Pakistan” in Islamabad on Tuesday.
She said government is introducing metro bus and other mega projects to provide better transportation services to the people.
She said Pak-China Economic Corridor will help enhance connectivity in the region.
Marvi Memon said we are aware of the problems of people and trying to resolve it on priority basis. She said mega projects are important for sustainable development of the country.
