LANDI KOTAL/KURRAM AGENCY/CHAMAN, Mar 03 (SABAH): Pak-Afghan borders have been closed since last 15 days while Afghan citizens were again allowed on Friday to cross the Chaman border on visa or passport.

Consequently, all kinds of trade and commercial activities are suspended.
The newly built Pakistan Gate on the Torkham border was opened in August last year, to both traffic and pedestrians, albeit without a formal ceremony.
The Torkham, one of the busiest crossing points between the two countries was being used by 15,000 to 20,000 people and hundreds of vehicles daily, now closed. The business activities are completely suspended because of the closure of the Pak-Afghan borders.
